Membership

The yearly affiliation fee for 2022 for all junior players will stay the same at N$550 per player.  Please note that it is compulsory for all regular tournament players to affiliate directly with NTA.  This will make a player eligible to be selected for the Junior Masters (at the end of the year) as well as national teams.

Tournament entry fees for affiliated players will increase from N$250 to N$300 as from February. 

Tournament entry fees for non-affiliated players will increase to N$370 per player.

All players are encouraged to play their first two tournaments of the year in their correct age groups to better determine strengths in age groups.  Should a player be ranked in the top 10% to 20% of the age group after this period, he/she may choose to play in a higher age group if so desired by his/her coach or parents.  The junior committee has the discretion to revisit these guidelines as and when necessary.  

Rankings (Please refer to information page for detailed explanation of rankings) of players will be updated after each junior tournament and posted on SportyHQ.  To access the ranking lists,  a player needs to log in on his/her SportyHQ account and scroll down on the Dashboard where the different rankings categories can be visited.  Double-click on a name to see exactly how points are earned.  For juniors,  the 5 best results in a rolling 12-month period count towards ranking points.  We will distribute a detailed explanation of rankings together with the ranking tables shortly.
